In honor of Black History month and the call for Racial Healing, there are some interesting programs available to learn more about Black History in the Church.

“The Black Church: This is our story. This is our Song”
is a two part series on the broad history and culture of the Black Church.
God of justice, In your wisdom you create all people in your image, without exception. Through your goodness, open our eyes to see the dignity, beauty, and worth of every human being. Open our minds to understand that all your children are brothers and sisters in the same human family. Open our hearts to repent of racist attitudes, behaviors, and speech which demean others. Open our ears to hear the cries of those wounded by racial discrimination, and their passionate appeals for change. Strengthen our resolve to make amends for past injustices and to right the wrongs of history. And fill us with courage that we might seek to heal wounds, build bridges, forgive and be forgiven, and establish peace and equality for all in our communities.

RITE OF ELECTION &
CALL TO CONTINUING CONVERSION
On Saturday, February 20th @ 5:30pm Mass, we celebrate the Rite of Election and the Call to Continuing Conversion. This is one of the final steps of preparation, as they enter the Period of Purification and Enlightenment before their Lenten Journey to be welcomed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil.

Updated Covid-19 Guidelines for Faith Communities
On December 21, 2020, Archbishop Sample sent a memorandum with updated guidelines and directives for parishes in our Archdiocese.
Guidelines that Holy Family Catholic Church are following for Mass:
- No more Flocknote sign-ups for masses are required
- No more contact tracing; we will count attendees as they arrive for masses but no longer require names or emails
- We will use the 50% capacity at Holy Family while maintaining 6ft distancing between households. Up to 200 people. Please note: our average for mass attendance has been far below the 50% capacity
- MASKS WILL STILL BE REQUIRED
- Masses will continue to be live-streamed
The safety and health of our Holy Family parishioners are of the utmost importance, please know we are doing everything to ensure our worship continues and is a place you can feel at home.
